Part-time Custodial Associate

Our client is seeking a part-time custodian to joing their team! Hours will typicall be Monday through Friday, 4 hours per day. The hours will be day shift hours, possibly mid-morning into early afternoon.

Job Duties

• Performs various manual cleaning tasks to maintain cleanliness and appearance of the facility. Cleans inside of building including kitchen facilities, restrooms and fixtures
• Completes monthly preventative tasks
• Cleans outside of facility, sweeping, picking up trash and cigarette butts on sidewalks around the outside of the building
• Sanitizes and cleans bathrooms and keeps restrooms stocked with soap, paper and supplies. Empties wastebaskets and performs other cleaning tasks as needed.
• Operates vacuum cleaner, floor buffer and other floor and carpet maintenance equipment. Dusts, sweeps and mops floors.
• Cleans windows and plexiglass around Atrium and stairs
• Daily trash duties

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of custodial methods, materials, equipment and supplies.
• Ability to understand and follow general instructions; maintain good working relationships with associates, supervisors, job contacts and older adults; perform light manual labor for extended periods of time. Climb ladders and ability to push, pull or lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• Skill in use of household cleaning chemicals; operation of standard custodial equipment; custodial maintenance.
